Yanukovych: My talk with EU leadership gives me basis for optimism

President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych states that today’s meetings in Brussels gives him optimism for further European integration promotion of the country.

V. Yanukovych is in optimistic mood

According to an UNIAN correspondent, he said this at a joint news conference with President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy and President of the European Commission José Manuel Barroso in Brussels.

“My talk with the EU leadership gives me basis for an optimism”, - underlined V. Yanukovych.

He expressed gratitude to Herman Van Rompuy and José Manuel Barroso for the sincere and constructive discussion and wishes towards him.
