President: Implementation of reforms in Ukraine is aimed at establishment of favorable business-climate
Implementation of reforms in Ukraine is aimed at the establishment of favorable business-climate, according to the Press office of President Viktor Yanukovych.
It was stated by the President in the course of Ukrainian-Latvian business-forum. “All our reforms have a purpose of creating civilized rules of doing business. Investments and our domestic resources must develop Ukrainian economy,” he said.
The Head of State stressed that the government would resort to all possible mechanisms for that end. “Successful business is possible when the government provides conditions and the business is transparent. Thus, we are continuing implementation of complex internal transformations,” Viktor Yanukovych said.
According to Viktor Yanukovych, Ukraine “managed to do a lot and achieve certain results” even in conditions of crisis in the world. Particularly, legislation on state-private partnership, Tax and Customs Code entered into force. It facilitates liberalization of economy and abolition of many regulatory acts at different levels.
The President stressed that the government worked over the expansion of domestic market and activation of foreign economic relations. “Not only Ukrainian representatives, but also foreign Chambers of Commerce are involved in this work. Such steps would facilitate development of business,” the Head of State noted.
The President urged Ukrainian and Latvian business representatives to actively participate in the reformation of Ukraine. “I am convinced that we must conduct reforms jointly,” he said.
