Yanukovych to hold sitting of Council of Regions on reform of local self government

A sitting of the Council of Regions will take place under chairmanship of President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych in Kyiv today.

The press service of the President of Ukraine disclosed to UNIAN that at sitting it is planned to consider issues of improvement of state policy on local self government and social-economic development of territories.

According to the words of Chief of Staff of Presidential Administration of Ukraine Serhiy Lyovochkin, V. Yanukovych plans to assess a current state of self government system and to outline principles of modernization of this area of state management.
