VRU starts consideration of issue on appointment of elections in Kyiv

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has started consideration of issue on appointment of regular elections of lawmakers of Kyiv City Council and Kyiv City Chairman.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, before discussing this issue Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Rybak asked lawmakers whether they want to consider this issue in full or brief procedure.  Leader of the Batkivshchyna faction Arseniy Yatsenyuk said that this issue should be considered only in full procedure.

In his speech leader of the UDAR Vitaliy Klitschko called upon all lawmakers to support voting in this issue.
