VR did not support decision on elections in Kyiv on June 2

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine did not support in whole the resolution on appointment of elections in Kyiv on June 2.

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine did not support in whole the draft resolution on appointment of regular elections of lawmakers of Kyiv City Council and Kyiv Mayor.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, only 179 (it is necessary 226 – UNIAN) out of 401 lawmakers registered in the session hall voted for this decision.

The resolution was supported by: 7 lawmakers from the Party of Regions, 84 lawmakers from the Batkivshchyna, 37 lawmakers from the UDAR, 33 lawmakers from the Svoboda, 18 out factional lawmakers, the CPU faction did not vote in full staff.

The resolution stipulated to appoint elections in Kyiv on June 2, 2013.
