At least one person was killed and three others were injured in a massive fire that broke out Friday at a thermal power plant in eastern Ukraine, the State Service for Emergencies said, according to Xinhua.
The accident occurred at 3.15 p.m. local time (1315 GMT) at Uglegorsk power plant in Donetsk region, when the blaze broke out inside the power station unit and spread rapidly to the roof, triggering a large amount of smoke which was sweeping through the nearby area, it said.
According to the State Service for Emergencies, the fire has been already put out.
