Ashton and Füle greet release of Lutsenko and Philipchuk

High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton and European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy Štefan Füle have greeted the decision of President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych to pardon former Interior Minister of Ukraine Yuri Lutsenko and former Minister of Environment Georgiy Philipchuk.

It is said in the statement of C. Ashton and Š. Füle, passed to UNIAN.

C. Ashton and Š. Füle said that it is very important step of the Ukrainian power for solving issues, which arouse anxiety concerning selective justice.
