Ukraine reduced the quota of permanent residence permit for immigrants to 6,221 in 2013, down from 8,217 in 2012, the Ukrainian government said Wednesday, according to Xinhua.
Under the government plan, in the current year, Ukraine intends to accept 315 foreign scientists and artists, and up to 76 businessmen who invested no less than 100,000 U.S. dollars in the country.
In addition, Ukraine is ready to admit no more than 5,567 relatives of its nationals and 263 former Ukrainian citizens.

According to the official data, there are around 310,000 foreign citizens staying in Ukraine on a permanent basis.
