Head of the OU – PSD Bloc’s political council Vyacheslav Kyrylenko is sure that the main difficulties in forming the united party consist in the fact that the Bloc is formed of nine parties. That’s what he said in his interview to “Ukraina moloda” (Young Ukraine) daily, according to Our Ukraine’s web site.
“First of all we should introduce changes to the law on political parties to solve all issues concerning legal succession of parties and reference point of the party forming. Line should be started from the oldest party of the Bloc. After introducing the changes to the law the party will not be considered to be new; it will be sequel of the nine parties’ history”, - he accented.
Describing the procedure of the united party’s forming Mr. Kyrylenko noticed: “It is about reorganization by merging. Generally speaking, all nine parties are adopting their decision till noon and holding the big uniting forum in the afternoon”.
Head of the Bloc’s political council assured that all members of the Bloc affirmed their decision to form such a party. “That will not keep us waiting. Now we should hold negotiations in the way showing prospects in the new force to all nine parties. No one should feel aside. We should respect all participants of the process. There shouldn’t be someone big and powerful and someone small who has to adjust. Like that everything will be fine”.
He said that the working group had been formed several weeks ago. It consists of three subgroups and works on the programme, the statute and organizational issues. “These subgroups will report to the political council the next Monday and we will take all decisions including the ones on the terms”.
