The International Monetary Fund (IMF) on Tuesday downgraded its projection for Ukraine's economic growth this year from 3.5 percent to zero, according to Xinhua.

The IMF said in its World Economic Outlook that the pace of economic growth in Ukraine is projected at 2.8 percent in 2014.

The global lender also said in a report that the inflation rate in Ukraine this year will likely stand at 0.5 percent compared to the previously estimated 7.4 percent.
