Yanukovych given another request to pardon Yulia Tymoshenko

More than 20 female MPs have signed a petition to pardon former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, who is unjustly serving a seven year prison sentence, according to the official web site of Yulia Tymoshenko.

Today five of them - Oleksandra Kuzhel, Maria Matios, Lyudmyla Denysova, Iryna Lutsenko and Liliya Hrynevych - gave the document addressed to Viktor Yanuovych through his office.

"Yulia Tymoshenko is serving a sentence in the so-called ‘gas case’ in which all the legal procedures have been completed," said Iryna Lutsenko.

More than 100 separate requests to pardon Yulia Tymoshenko have been sent to Viktor Yanukovych since the ex-premier was wrongly jailed.
