At least five people were killed and 45 injured after a suspension bridge collapsed in Thailand's central province of Ayutthaya on Sunday night, a local television channel reported, according to RIA Novosti.

The 31-year-old bridge over the Pa Sak River, some 90 kilometers (56 miles) north of Bangkok, was used only by pedestrians and motorcyclists.

There were about 100 people, when the 120 meters (395 feet) long bridge snapped sending them down in the river.
