Prime Minister of Ukraine believes that the activities of parliament on the non-coalition basis will be ineffective.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, Victor Yanukovych said this at a government session on Wednesday.
‘The coalition, which will be created, must shoulder responsibility for the state of affairs in the country, and for the organization of the work of parliament. The most important is the responsibility. When I hear calls for the parliament to begin working with nearly equal balance of forces, and we’ll see. Without any doubt, the government should work, but what will we see? Who will be responsible?” stressed Victor Yanukovych.
The Prime Minister pointed out that the executive authority must be strong. “Then it will be responsible as well. We need that this “three” – the President, the parliament, and the government – work as a single organism. Then there will be order, and the power will be responsible”, he specified.
