Foreign Minister of Ukraine Leonid Kozhara will pay a visit to Krakow (Poland) on May 17 to take part in a meeting of Foreign Ministers of the countries of Visegrád Four and “Eastern partnership”.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, acting director of the Information Policy Department of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine Yevgeniy Perebiynis said this at press conference.

According to his words, it is planned that High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton,  European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy Štefan Füle, and Foreign Ministers of Ireland and Lithuania – chair countries in the Council of the European Union in 2013 – will take place in the meeting.

A goal of the measure is assessment of results of introduction of “Eastern partnership” initiative and determination of desirable directions of the eastern policy of the EU on the eve of “Eastern partnership” summit in Vilnius in November this year.
