Leader of the Batkivshchyna faction Arseniy Yatsenyuk is sure that if ex Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko takes part in presidential elections, she will win.
He said this on the air of ICTV television channel.
“Last year the Batkivshchyna All-Ukrainian Union made a decision to nominate Yulia Tymoshenko as a candidate to post of president of our country. If Yu. Tymoshenko has a possibility to take part in presidential elections, she will win”, - Ukrainska Pravda quotes.
According to his words, if the court does not acquit Yu. Tymoshenko and she does not take part in elections, new democratic president will release her by the first decree and by the second one – will make the prosecutor’s office “to investigate her illegal political persecution”.
