Official visit of Foreign Minister of Ukraine to Sweden starts

An official visit of Foreign Minister of Ukraine Leonid Kozhara to Sweden starts today.

The Department for Information Policy of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine disclosed to UNIAN that the meeting with Speaker of Swedish Riksdag Per Westerberg took place within framework of the visit.

During the meeting L. Kozhara told about progress in Ukraine concerning preconditions for signing of Agreement on association between Ukraine and EU, including fulfillment of arrangements of the 16th Summit Ukraine –EU.

The sides highly estimated the current level of the Ukrainian-Swedish cooperation in political, economic, humanitarian and other areas. They also discussed issues of stirring up of bilateral inter-parliamentary cooperation.
