Signing of Memorandum on deepening of interaction with EEC is not considered as change of foreign-policy course of Ukraine – FM

A signing of the Memorandum on deepening of interaction between Ukraine and the Eurasian Economic Commission is not considered as a change of foreign-policy course of Ukraine.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, acting director of the Information Policy Department of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine Yevgeniy Perebiynis said this at press conference.

“A signing of the memorandum can not be considered as a change of foreign-policy course of Ukraine, European integration remains a strategic priority for us”, - he said.

Y. Perebiynis noted that the memorandum is not an international treaty and does not entail judicial obligations for Ukraine.
