Presidents of Ukraine and Slovakia discuss agenda of summit of heads of states of Central Europe
President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych and President of Slovakia Ivan Gašparovič have discussed an agenda of the 18th summit of the heads of the states of Central Europe, which started in Bratislava today.
The press service of the President disclosed to UNIAN that in a telephone talk V. Yanukovych thanked Ivan Gašparovič for invitation to take part in the summit.
The sides discussed an issue of European integration of Ukraine. According to persuasion of V. Yanukovych, a speedy conclusion of Agreement on association is a mutual interest both for Ukraine and the EU.
During the talk the heads of the states noted a traditionally high level of mutual understanding and a constructive dialogue between Ukraine and Slovakia.
