The President is ready for systemic cooperation with the Parliament. “Everything will depend on political culture of our relations,” Viktor Yanukovych said at the meeting with leadership of the Verkhovna Rada and parliamentary fractions, according to the Press office of President Viktor Yanukovych.
The Head of State expressed hope that Ukraine would increase the level of political culture. “I am ready to do everything that will positively influence the given process,” the President noted.
According to the President, political will of deputies and representatives of parliamentary parties will have a great importance. “When there is a common desire, it is possible to achieve anything,” the Head of State stressed.
At the same time he noted: “All politicians must be responsible. It is better not to disturb, but help the executive power. I was the leader of opposition. We have never obstructed the work of the government. We were giving recommendations and holding negotiations. Today, oppositional deputies often destabilize situation in the government. If the Government does not work, who will work in the country?”.
“We also must reach an agreement: parliamentary session is held on Friday, you demand the report from Minister, Vice Prime Minister or Prime Minister – they will provide a report. There are no problems with that,” the President said.
