Yulia Tymoshenko’s daughter, Eugenia Tymoshenko, held a series of meetings today with European politicians at the European People’s Party Summit in Vienna, Austria, according to the Official web site of Yulia Tymoshenko.
"Everyone passed along greetings and assured us that their country continues to press for the release of Yulia Tymoshenko," said Eugenia Tymoshenko.
Deputy Head of Batkivshchyna and Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on European Integration Hryhoriy Nemyria, as instructed by Yulia Tymoshenko, informed the summit participants about the situation in Ukraine and the implementation of the criteria set by the EU Council on December 10, 2012, for the signing of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement at the Eastern Partnership Summit in Vilnius, Lithuania.
The participants of the summit stressed that the issue of political prisoners, including the release of Yulia Tymoshenko, remains a key requirement for the signing of the agreement.
