Democratic coalition postponed consideration of candidacies for PM and Speaker

The democratic coalition postponed till tomorrow the decision of  issues concerning candidacies of the Prime Minister of Ukraine and Verkhovna Rada Speaker, due to the absence of the candidate for Speaker, Foreign Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatseniuk.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, Viacheslav Kyrylenko, who chaired the session of the democratic coalition, announced the candidacy for the post of Prime Minister from BYuT – Yulia Tymoshenko, and the candidacy for the post of Verkhovna Rada Speaker from OU-PSD – Arseniy Yatseniuk.

At the same time, Our Ukraine representatives noted that the faction has not made any official decision to propose the candidacy of A.Yatseniuk for the post of Speaker, as the candidate is absent.

Yulia Tymoshenko proposed to postpone till tomorrow the consideration of candidacy for the post of Prime Minister. She stressed it is necessary that all the decisions in the coalition be balanced.
