Creation of coalition officially announced in parliament

The statement about creating the coalition between Our Ukraine – People’s Self-Defense Bloc and Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko officially announced in the Verkhovna Rada.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, during the announcement about creating the coalition, BYuT and OU-PSD members applauded, while members of other factions did not applaud.

Roman Zvarych, who chaired the Verkhovna Rada session, claimed that the democratic coalition includes 227 lawmakers.

After the announcement about creating the coalition, a big basket with flowers of two colors was presented to Yulia Tymoshenko.
