Bronislaw Komorowski: “Visegrad Four” countries support European integration aspirations of Ukraine
“Visegrad Four” countries support European integration aspirations of Ukraine. It was stated by the President of Poland in the course of the joint press conference of the Presidents after the session of the Visegrad Four Presidents’ Summit in Wisla, according to the Press office of President Viktor Yanukovych.
“We fully support integration and urge Ukraine to make every effort in order to eliminate all the barriers on this way,” Bronislaw Komorowski noted.
The President of Poland emphasized that the “Visegrad Four” countries would convince the EU countries to note the progress of Ukraine on its way to European integration.
According to him, states-neighbors are interested in the European integration of Ukraine.
Bronislaw Komorowski expressed hope that the Summit in Vilnius would be successful for Ukraine.
In his turn, President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych expressed gratefulness to colleagues for their support. “Your support is extremely important for us,” the Head of State emphasized.
Viktor Yanukovych also expressed hope that in the course of its presidency in the “Visegrad Four”, Hungary would continue good traditions of improving bilateral relations and enhancing cooperation, particularly in the issue of European integration aspirations of Ukraine.
