Prosecutor’s General Office to probe into BYuT statements

The Prosecutor’s General Office will probe into the statements about bribing BYuT lawmakers.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, Prosecutor General of Ukraine Oleksander Medvedko claimed this to journalists today.

He pointed out that BYuT did not turn to PGO.

O.Medvedko stressed that he ordered his deputy to investigate whether BYuT had turned to SBU, and whether SBU gave a negative answer to the appeal.

As UNIAN reported earlier, at a press conference on 30 November, BYuT faction member Serhiy Sobolev claimed that in the nearest future the Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko will pass to SBU evidence of Party of Regions’ attempts to bribe BYuT lawmakers.
