Foreign Minister of Ukraine Leonid Kozhara will take part in the 4th ministerial meeting of “Eastern partnership”, which will take place on Brussels today.
The Information Policy Department of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine disclosed to UNIAN that Foreign Ministers of the EU countries and countries, which take part in “Eastern partnership” initiative, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton and European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy Štefan Füle will be present at the meeting.
The Foreign Ministry noted that such meetings of ministers are carried out once with a goal to assess a state of implementation of “Eastern partnership” initiative. Today’s sitting will be dedicated to issues of preparation of “Eastern partnership” summit, which will take place on November 28-29 in Vilnius. It is said in the report that L. Kozhara will represent position of Ukraine concerning expected results of Vilnius summit and a view concerning further development of “Eastern partnership” initiative.
