Court imposes pre-trial restraint in form of home detention for Melnyk to September 27 inclusive

Pechersk district court of Kyiv imposed a pre-trial restraint in form of home detention for suspected of taking bribes chancellor of National University of State Tax Service Petro Melnyk to September 27 inclusive.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, the corresponding decision was made today.

At the same time, the court decreed to refuse to satisfy petition of the investigator concerning a measure of restraint in form of arrest for P. Melnyk.

“The court decreed to apply a pre-trial restraint in form of home detention to P. Melnyk suspected of taking bribes to September 27 inclusive for the period of carrying out of investigation”, - it is said in the court’s decision.
