The Ukrainian government must implement the judgment of the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) and release Yulia Tymoshenko, the ex-premier’s daughter, Eugenia Tymoshenko, has said, according to Official web site of Yulia Tymoshenko.

"The whole world unanimously supports my other and is demanding her immediate release," Eugenia Tymoshenko said today after visiting her mother. "These aren’t just statements by NGOs and politicians, there are statements based on the completely legal judgment of the European Court, which is the highest legal authority for Ukraine as a member of the Council of Europe. Therefore, the government should implement the ECHR decision and release her."

The ex-premier’s daughter is hoping for justice in the case of her mother. "They illegally took away two years of her life, two years of political activity. But, in spite of everything, she continues to be more active than before," she said.
