An opening ceremony of the 3rd session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the 7th convocation is over.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, after the speech of President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych in the parliament Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Rybak asked lawmakers to thank the head of the state and the members of the government for participation in an opening ceremony.
However, only lawmakers from the Party of Regions and the CPU stood up from their places in a sign of respect, the whole opposition remained sitting on their places.
After that V. Rybak announced a break for 30 minutes, and then the sitting of the VR should be continued.
As of now the President of Ukraine and the members of the government left the session hall.
