President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych will visit China in December this year.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych said this during the meeting with First Secretary of the Central Secretariat of the Communist Party of China Liu Yunshan.
“I am about to visit China this year and hold negotiations with President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping and Prime Minister of the People's Republic of China Li Keqiang”, said the President, having added that he is looking forward for the December meeting. He also attached importance to intensification of the dialogue between the countries at the highest level. V. Yanukovych also expressed a hope that during his visit two important documents will be signed and that will give a platform for bringing the relations between the countries into a new strategic level. In particular, this is a treaty on friendship between Ukraine and China and program on strategic partnership between Ukraine and China for 2013-2017 years.
“I count on these documents to be signed during my visit”, - said the President.
