Incumbent chairman of the OSCE, Foreign Minister of Ukraine Leonid Kozhara will pay official visits to the Czech Republic (on September 10-11), Slovakia (on September 12-13) and Romania (on September 13).
According to an UNIAN correspondent, director of the Information Policy Department of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine Yevgeniy Perebiynis said at the press conference that the program of the visit stipulates the meeting of L. Kozhara with representatives of official and business circles. During these meetings the special attention will be paid to issues concerning support of European integration aspirations of Ukraine by these countries, in particular, during the preparation for the Eastern Partnership Summit in Vilnius, where it is planned to sign an Agreement on association of Ukraine with the EU.
In the Czech Republic L. Kozhara will take part in an opening ceremony of the final sitting of 21st OSCE Economic and Environmental Forum “Increasing stability and security: Improving the environmental footprint of energy-related activities in the OSCE region”.
