President of EP seconds signing of agreement with Ukraine, however, underlines it to depend on Kyiv
President of the European Parliament Martin Schulz seconds a signing of an Agreement on association with Ukraine, however, he noted that this decision will depend not only on Brussels, but also on Kyiv.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, he said this at the press conference in Strasbourg as a result of discussion of speech of President of the European Commission José Manuel Barroso concerning situation in the EU.
“The European Union is very interested in seeing Ukraine as closer to the EU as possible”, - said the President of the European Parliament.
“I second a signing of the agreement in Vilnius, but it depends not only on us, but also on efforts, which Kyiv will apply”, - he added.
