Eugenia Tymoshenko: prison officials are manipulating information about my mother
Eugenia Tymoshenko has denied information by the State Penitentiary Service that her mother, former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, demanded that radiation levels in her Kharkiv hospital room be checked, calling such statements manipulative, according to the Official web site of Yulia Tymoshenko.
"This is not true. The penitentiary service is again spreading lies and manipulating information. I saw my mother. There were no statements, she didn't write anything and didn't ask for anything because she doesn't trust analysis done by institutions dependent on the president's administration. Therefore, nobody is measuring the radiation levels in Central Clinical Hospital #5, where my mother is being treated," Eugenia Tymoshenko said.
The ex-premier's daughter reiterated her concern for her mother's health, "because besides radiation there are lots of ways to destructively affect the body."
As a result, Eugenia Tymoshenko stressed the urgency of a comprehensive assessment of Yulia Tymosheno's health in a hospital "independent of the Ukrainian healthcare system, given the lack of trust in the Ukrainian Ministry of Health, which is dependent on the president's administration." "We hope the issue of a comprehensive assessment will be addressed immediately," she added.
