President of the European Council Herman Achille Van Rompuy and Presidents of Poland, Bulgaria, Estonia, Lithuania, Slovakia and probably Slovenia are about to meet with President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych in New York on September 24.
Press secretary of the President of Poland Joanna Tshaska-Wieczorek said this to UNIAN.
“The meeting is scheduled, but final details have being agreed”, she said.
The interlocutor of the agency noted that one of the topics of discussion with the head of the Ukrainian state will be European integration and signing of Agreement on association of Ukraine with the EU, which is scheduled in November.
The press secretary noted that the meeting with V. Yanukovych will take place within a framework of the 68th session of the UN.
