VR approves President’s decision on participation of Ukrainian peacemakers in UN mission in Congo

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted a Law “On approval of the decision of the President of Ukraine on sending of the national contingent for participation of Ukraine in the UN Mission on stabilization in Democratic Republic of the Congo”.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, 375 out of 414 lawmakers registered in the session hall voted for this decision.

This law stipulates participation of the national contingent up to three hundred strong in terms defined by the UN Security Council in the UN mission on stabilization in Democratic Republic of the Congo.
