Former European Parliament President Pat Cox, who together with former Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski, has been monitoring political trials in Ukraine, hopes the Ukrainian government will fulfill all the criteria necessary for the signing of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement in Vilnius, Lithuania, according to the Official web site of Yulia Tymoshenko.

"A lot of people have asked us if we already wrote the report, when it will be released and what it says. I would like our report to consist of two words: mission accomplished," Pat Cox said during the 10th Yalta Annual Meeting: "Changing Ukraine in a Changing World: Factors of Success".

In his turn, Aleksander Kwasniewski recalled the criteria include reform of election legislation, the law on the prosecutor’s office and the case of Yulia Tymoshenko. "We hope that Yulia Tymoshenko, who right now needs surgery, then therapy, and then rehabilitation, will go abroad for treatment, because we understand that she has certain problems with trust in the Ukrainian healthcare system," he said.

"This means that we’re looking for a humanitarian move from the Ukrainian authorities. We are serious about it. Yes, a lot of time has passed, but we hope that finally the Ukrainian government will accept this proposal. We have already offered it. If you want to meet all the conditions and remove all the obstacles, this issue must be resolved," the former president of Poland emphasized.
