Ukraine and the EU discussed an implementation of the Plan on liberalization of the visa regime.
The Mission of Ukraine under the EU disclosed to an own UNIAN correspondent in Brussels.
According to the report, deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Andriy Olephirov and first deputy Justice Minister Inna Yemelyanova represented the Ukrainian side at the negotiation and Director General for Home Affairs of the European Commission Stefano Manservisi headed the EU delegation.
The sides noted intensification of the reforms, which are carried out in Ukraine in order to execute criteria of the first phase of the Action Plan and they also discussed steps, which should be done to reach the next phase, among which there are following issues: introducing of anti corruption legislation and legal area in counteraction to discrimination in accordance with the European standards.
