Head of the European Union Delegation to Ukraine Jan Tombinski has said the Ukrainian government shouldn’t put off resolving the issue of Yulia Tymoshenko until the last minute before the Eastern Partnership summit in Vilnius, Lithuania, where the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement may be signed, according to the Official web site of Yulia Tymoshenko.

"The issue remains in the hands of the Ukrainian authorities. There are several ways that have already been named. This issue got publicity at the Yalta conference. I think everyone is aware that this issue has great weight," Jan Tombinski said in an interview today with Channel 5.

The head of the EU Delegation stressed that the government and parliament of Ukraine should find and propose a solution to the case of Yulia Tymoshenko.
