Ratification of Agreement on association of Ukraine with EU may take place in March-April 2014 – European lawmaker

A ratification of the Agreement on association of Ukraine with the European Union may take place in March-April 2014.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, lawmaker of the European Parliament  Jacek Saryusz-Wolski said this at the international conference “The Way Ahead for the Eastern Partnership” in Kyiv today.

“If Ukraine signs the Agreement on association with the European Union in November in Vilnius, ratification may take place in March-April 2014”, - said the European lawmaker.

At the same time Jacek Saryusz-Wolski stressed that Ukraine should fulfill the main condition – to release ex Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko – for signing of the Agreement on association.
