Yanukovych to pay visit to Estonia today
President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych will pay a visit to Estonia on October 15.
The press service of the head of the state with a reference to Advisor to the President - Presidential Administration Main Office for International Affairs Head Andriy Honcharuk disclosed this to UNIAN.
The program of the visit stipulates that the President of Ukraine will hold meetings with President of Estonia Toomas Hendrik Ilves, Prime Minister of Estonia Andrus Ansip and Speaker of the Parliament of Estonia Ene Ergma.
A. Honcharuk noted that it is planned to discuss a wide range of issues concerning development of the bilateral relations, primarily in political and economic areas.
According to his words, an agenda includes issues of stirring up of the bilateral trade and investment cooperation, interaction in transport and energy areas, strengthening of cultural-humanitarian relations between Ukraine and Estonia.
The special attention will be paid to a topic concerning European integration of Ukraine, in particular, preparation for the signing of the Agreement on association between Ukraine and the EU during the Eastern Partnership Summit in Vilnius.
The advisor to the President said that within a framework of the visit it is planned to sign a bilateral document on cooperation in transport area.
