Yatsenyuk hopes Yanukovych to make responsible political decision and release Tymoshenko

Chairman of the political council of the Batkivshchyna all-Ukrainian union Arseniy Yatsenyuk hopes that President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych will make a responsible political decision and release ex Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, he said this at briefing before the Ukrzaliznytsya central hospital in Kharkiv before the meeting with Yu. Tymoshenko.

“Ukraine is in the homestretch with signing of Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union. A range of criteria, thanks to the opposition, has been fulfilled”, - noted A. Yatsenyuk.

He also expressed hope that Yu. Tymoshenko will be released before the Eastern Partnership Summit in Vilnius.
