President Victor Yushchenko welcomed the election of Yulia Tymoshenko for the post of the Prime Minister and noted that it is an evidence of democratic coalition`s effectiveness, according to the President`s press-office.
V. Yushchenko also remarked that modified voting procedure which was transparent and undisguised rises no doubts about legality of the decision. “Today’s voting proved that democratic powers are capable of acting in productive tandem. That provides grounds for expectations that new steps of the coalition aimed at resolving top-priority state issues shall be fruitful as well. There is a broad field of action before the coalition and people shall evaluate the results of these parliamentary majority’s and Cabinet of Minister’s actions”, - President said.
