Foreign Minister of Ukraine Leonid Kozhara will pay an official visit to Italy and Vatican on October 24.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, director of the Information Policy Department of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine Yevgeniy Perebiynis said this at press conference.
It is planned that L. Kozhara will meet with Foreign Minister of Italy Emma Bonino and Secretary for Relations with States in the Roman Curia Dominique Mamberti.
The program of the visit stipulates holding negotiations with the Italian parliamentarians and leading representatives of business circles of Italy.
Issues of development of the Ukrainian-Italian relations in all areas of mutual interest will be discussed during the visit.
Special attention will be paid to issue concerning interaction of Ukraine with the European Union, in particular, in context of support of the European integration aspirations of Ukraine by Italy.
