Barroso calls upon Ukrainian power to fulfill all demands of the EU for signing of Agreement on association

President of the European Commission José Manuel Barroso calls upon the Ukrainian power to fulfill all the demands of the European Union for signing of the Agreement on association, having noted that the next weeks are “very important” for achieving a progress.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, he said this at session of the European Parliament in Strasbourg.

“Sure, we are waiting our partners to fulfill all obligations concerning reforms and values that are the basis of our partnership”, said Barroso.

“That is why I call upon Ukraine to fulfill the rest of the demands and use an opportunity that the Cox-Kwaśniewski monitoring mission was extended”, - said Barroso in his speech before the lawmakers of the European Parliament.
