Leader of the Party of Regions, ex-Prime Minister Victor Yanukovych says that the opposition will form a shadow government.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, V. Yanukovych said this to journalists in the Verkhovna Rada today.
“We are opponents, that is why we will supervise the power and act within the frameworks of the law. Of course, we will propose alternative decisions, because the effective work of power will depend on how effectively we will supervise it”, said V. Yanukovych.
The leader of the Party of Regions emphasized there is a big number of experienced people in the party. ”Actually, we have two staffs of the government. I think that we will distribute the duties among the parliament members in every ministry and every direction, and in every sphere. We will monitor the situation and express our stance”, he explained.
“In reality, it means creating a shadow Cabinet of Ministers”, stressed V. Yanukovych.
