Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine closed an extraordinary sitting of the parliament.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, lawmakers did not consider any issue, they only delivered speeches.
In particular, chairman of interim working group on preparation of the draft law on possibility of medical treatment of convicts abroad Hennadiy Vasyljev delivered a speech.
He noted that the working group was not able to submit any draft law and accused opposition representatives of unconstructive work.
In his turn, leader of the Batkivshchyna faction Arseniy Yatsenyuk stated that it is Party of Regions faction that blocks adoption of the necessary decisions for signing of the Agreement on association with the European Union.
Closing the sitting, V. Rybak regretted that the draft law on medical treatment of convicts abroad had not been prepared.
