Former European Parliament President Pat Cox and former Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski hope that on November 19 the Verkhovna Rada will pass the laws necessary for the signing of the association agreement, including the laws on the prosecutor’s office and elections and law that will allow Yulia Tymoshenko to get medical treatment abroad, according to the Official web site of Yulia Tymoshenko.

"We understand that politically it’s all very complicated, but we hope there will be enough good will," Aleksander Kwasniewski said during a joint briefing with Pat Cox after talks in the Verkhovna Rada.

On October 31 the EP’s envoys urged all political forces in parliament to consolidate their efforts and pass a law that would resolve the issue of Yulia Tymoshenko.
