Azarov: Decision to suspend association is tactical, strategy remains invariable – European integration

The decision of the government on suspension of preparation process for conclusion of the Agreement on association between Ukraine and the EU has a tactical character, taking into consideration economic situation. In spite of this a strategic course of Ukraine to the European integration remains invariable.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said this in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Friday, the Information and Public Relations Department of the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers reports.

At the same time he assured that both President and government will continue course of reforms directed to the European integration.
