Ex Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko calls upon President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych to convene an extraordinary sitting of the National Security and Defense Council and to make decision on signing of the Agreement on association with the EU.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, it is said in an open letter of Tymoshenko to Yanukovych. Defender of the ex Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Vlasenko read it before the journalists near Ukrzaliznytsya central hospital in Kharkiv.
“Victor Fedorovych, I advise you and ask you to convene the National Security and Defense Council as soon as possible, to listen with a paternal attention, as you can, all the doubts of your government concerning complication of relations with Russia and to admit that you understand their sincere concern and immediately to make decision on signing of the Agreement on association at an extraordinary sitting of the NSDC”, it is said in Tymoshenko’s letter.
The ex Prime Minister noted that if such decision is made she will address the European leaders with a request to sign an agreement without fulfillment of all criteria.
Tymoshenko gave three advices to Yanukovych: the first one – to choose a vector of development of Ukraine regardless of how it will influence coming presidential election; the second one – under no circumstances to stay one-to-one with Russia; the third one – not to have complexes about her release.
“Killing the agreement, you are making the biggest mistake in your life”, - stressed Tymoshenko.
