Yulia Tymoshenko’s meeting today with former Interior Minister Yuriy Lutsenko and his wife, MP Iryna Lutsenko, and Arseniy Yatsenyuk did not take place, according to the Official web site of Yulia Tymoshenko.
This time the official reason was the quarantine announced today in Kharkiv by the city government in connection with the apparent spike in cases of the flu and acute respiratory viral infections.
The meeting with her political allies was initially scheduled to take place on November 15, but prison officials cancelled it because they claimed that the ex-premier was sick.
According to Article 100 of the Penal Code of Ukraine, prisoners have the right to short visits of up to four hours and longer visits of up to three days with close relatives.
