The European Union follows the fate of imprisoned ex Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko and expresses concern about her hunger strike in support of signing of Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU.

According to an own UNIAN correspondent in Brussels, spokeswoman for High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton Maya Kochiyanchich said this.

“We noted this (the fact of hunger strike-UNIAN). We express concern”, - said Kochiyanchich to journalists in the premises of the European Commission. “Our position concerning “Tymoshenko’s case” is clear, there were no changes there.
